Why we like it

The V15 Detect is the beastlier version of our favorite Dyson value vacuum, the V12 Detect Slim. “Detect” signifies the cleaning head with Dyson’s iconic green laser that points out dust you wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Compared to the V12, the V15 Detect has a larger dustbin and 240 Air Watts of suction power versus the V12’s 150. Now that the V12’s discount from last week has disappeared, the V15 Detect is currently $150 cheaper than its less-powerful sibling.

This sub-$600 sale price also looks like a steal alongside the $949.99 price tag on the V15s Detect Submarine: Dyson’s first all-in-one cordless vacuum and mop that’s essentially the V15 Detect with the option to swap in a wet roller head.
