FOX unveiled a new scorebug during Sunday’s Super Bowl to show the time remaining and the score of the game.

The scorebug was blocky with KC in white on a red background, and PHI for Philadelphia in white letters on a green background.

CBS Sports commentator Tom Fornelli said, “After giving Tom Brady $375 million, Fox only had $25 left to spend on a scorebug design.”

NBC Sports broadcaster Nicole Auerbach said on social media, “omg the scorebug is awful.”

ESPN broadcasters Matt Barrie and Scott Van Pelt used GIFs to emphasize their reactions.

Corey Miller, a sports broadcaster for the NBC affiliate in St. Louis, posted to social media, “Wow this Super Bowl score bug is truly appalling.”

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles met in Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The Chiefs, led by head coach Andy Reid, are seeking their third consecutive Super Bowl victory. The Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game to reach the Super Bowl.

Nick Sirianni is the Philadelphia Eagles head coach. The Eagles beat the Washington Commanders to reach the Super Bowl.
