As snow falls and Christmas music hits the radio, the chill in the air tells us it’s time for holiday horror. And if you’re looking for fresh fears studded with star power and season scares, you’ll want to watch The Sacrifice Game.
Aladdin’s Mena Massoud, Fear Street‘s Olivia Scott Welch, The OA‘s Chloë Levine, and Olympian/thirst trap king Gus Kenworthy star in the latest from Jenn Wexler, who helmed the 2018 horror thriller The Ranger. What this promising collection of talent is up to is malicious mayhem, unleashed on an unsuspecting boarding school for girls in 1971.
This exclusive clip features young students Samantha (Madison Baines) and Clara (Georgia Acken), who can’t go home for the holidays but are content under the care of gentle teacher Rose (Levine). That is, until a cult of killers unexpectedly knocks at their door, and this tender guardian is not quite equipped to shut them out.
What’s in store as the girls of the Blackvale School face off against vicious home invaders? We’ll find out when The Sacrifice Game hits Shudder on Dec. 8.
