It’s all about Keanu Reeves and the end of the world as we know it in the latest trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Reeves made a cheeky cameo as Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic 2, but will be up front in this one as the key villain. He’s up against an unlikely team: Ben Schwartz returning as Sonic, Colleen O’Shaughnessey back voicing Tails, and Idris Elba crushing it as Knuckles.
But as you’ll see from the trailer, perpetual Sonic series highlight Jim Carrey is also back, this time playing both Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik and his grandfather Gerald, Shadow’s creator. That’s a lot of villain firepower.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 hits cinemas Dec. 21.
