Kendrick Lamar took to the stage for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show at almost exactly 7:30 p.m. ET and the first things fans noticed was the chain he was wearing.
Decked out in diamonds, Lamar’s chain featured a lowercase A…or ‘A minor’ in reference to probably the most popular line in his song ‘Not Like Us.’
“Not Like Us,” a diss track about fellow rapper Drake, just won three of the five Grammy’s Lamar took home earlier this month. The track won best music video, best rap performance, and best rap song.
Fans on X/Twitter loved the subtle note the chain added to the rapper’s performance. Here’s what they had to say:
