Apple announced a new iPad Pro with an ultra-thin design, a fresh M4 chip, and an ultra-bright “Tandem OLED” display during its “Let Loose” event Tuesday — the tablet’s first update since 2022, and arguably its biggest ever. It will come in two sizes (11-inch and 13-inch) and preorders for both are now live in the Apple Store.

The portable 11-inch version of the premium iPad starts at $999, while the standard 13-inch model starts at $1,299 (both with 256GB to 2TB of storage). They’ll be available in two aluminum finishes — silver and space black — and will officially start shipping on Wednesday, May 15.
