While it’s not the newest iPad on the shelves, the 9th generation iPad (WiFi + cellular) is still our top tablet recommendation for most people. Hailing from 2021, its A13 chip isn’t the latest or greatest, but it’s certainly still powerful enough to do all the basic tasks you need it to — from browsing the web to streaming video to taking notes. T-Mobile is currently running a 50% off deal on this bad boy when you open a new mobile internet line, which knocks its price down to a record-low $229.99 (broken down into monthly payments). For comparison, the WiFi-only model reached a record-low of $249 during Cyber Week.
