Corporation says journalist ‘undermined trust in the BBC’ and requests return of money paid since arrest in November
The BBC has asked Huw Edwards to return his salary from the time he was arrested in November last year, after the presenter admitted making indecent images of children.
A statement from the corporation said Edwards had “undermined trust in the BBC and brought us into disrepute”.
