‘Major incident’ after Northern Ireland school bus overturns in field

Ambulance service indicates about 50 people have minor injuries with eight needing more serious treatment

Emergency services have declared a major incident after a school bus carrying more than 60 people overturned in a field in County Down.

Pictures on social media showed children in uniform walking from the blue doubledecker bus, which had shattered windscreens. A helicopter, ambulance and fire services were on the scene.
